About Dwayne
Dwayne Pittman Jr. was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut. A proud father of two beautiful children, Dwayne is a mental health advocate, community organizer, and civil rights activist. Dwayne is a graduate from Post University with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Minor in Finance.
Dwayne has served on numerous boards including Vice-President of Finance and Co-Founder of Waterbury Strong Community Collective, Vice-President of the Greater Waterbury NAACP, Youth Advisor for the Waterbury Pride NAACP Youth Council and President of DOE Live.
Dwayne is a proud graduate of both the Campaign School at Yale University and the Congressional Black Caucus Campaign Institute. Dwayne has worked on many local and congressional campaigns throughout his political journey. Dwayne’s goal is to continue to inspire the next generation to have confidence in their ability to make policy changes and build sustainable communities.
